How To Install / Remove Handbrake 0.9.9 In Ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 / 12.04 & LinuxMint


HandBrake is an open-source, GPL-licensed, multiplatform, multithreaded video transcoder, available for MacOS X, Linux and Windows.Handbrake New Version 0.99 released.

So in this Tutorial i will tell you how to install handbrake on Ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 / 12.04 ,the Procedures are same for LinuxMint 

Installation Procedure

Step 1:Login as root user and add the ppasource

add-apt-repository ppa:stebbins/handbrake-releases

Step 2:Update  & install handbrake

apt-get update
apt-get install handbrake-gtk

Thats it .. it will install  

Removing Handbrake

Type the following commands in terminal

apt-get purge handbrake-gtk
