How to solve NTLDR is missing




 "NTLDR is Missing" Error Occurred when you are Using The Computer, This is very common & hectic problem for the computer user. I saw this problem in many forums & blogs and people asks solutions for the same. So we will discuss about this error in this post. But before discussion we need to know about the NTLDR what exactly it is. Many people use windows OS So everyone need to know about this. When you Start your Computer BIOS Program Works and find the primary hard drive partition to read MBR (Master Boot Record). NT Loader is the Program of your computer which is loaded in hard drive boot sector and when it got corrupted or deleted then “NTLDR is Missing" Error occurred . Your NTLDR file is missing or corrupted then you will need to fix this error.
NTLDR Solutions
STEP-1 : Remove Removable Medias

Remove any floppy disks, CD’s or USB sticks from your computer and restart.

If NTLDR is missing error appears again, proceed to step 2

STEP-2 :

Restart the computer by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL

Ensure you boot the system from the CD. The system will then boot into the Windows XP Setup.

At the welcome screen press ‘R’ to enter the Recovery Console

At the recovery console, select your Windows XP installation and enter your Administrator password if requested
 
From the command prompt, copy NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM from the i386 folder of the CD to the root folder of the hard drive.

Example- C: is the hard drive and F: is the CD-ROM drive. COPY F:\I386\NTLDR C:\ COPY F:\I386\NTDETECT.COM C:\


Remove your Windows XP CD and restart the computer
