How To Install Darling On Ubuntu / LinuxMint

Darling is an open source Darwin / OS X emulation layer for Linux. 

The aim is to achieve binary compatible support for Darwin / OS X applications on Linux, plus provide useful tools that will aid especially in application installation.

In this Tutorial I will tell you how to install darling on Ubuntu ,the procedures are same for Linux Mint

Installation Procedure

Step 1: Login as root user and add the ppa

sudo su

add-apt-repository ppa:thopiekar/darling

Step 2: Update and install

apt-get update

apt-get upgrade

apt-get install darling

Thats it Darling Installed...........

Uninstallation Procedure

For Removing the darling open terminal and type the commands

apt-get remove darling
