How To Install / Uninstall Komodo Edit On Ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 / 12.04


Komodo Edit is the best editor for JavaScript, Perl,php,python,HTML and ruby.
It Supports OS like Windows,MAC and Linux .It is a open source software and free 
It is similar to notepad++ for  windows

The Current stable version is 8.0.2 and beta version  is 8.5.0b2

In this tutorial i am going to tell you how to install Komodo Edit 8.0.2 on ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 /12.04    

Installation Procedure

Step 1: Open Terminal and add the following repository 
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mystic-mirage/komodo-edit

Step 2: Run update and install the package
sudo apt-get update 
sudo apt-get install komodo-edit 
sudo apt-get install komodo-edit-globalmenu

Uninstallation Procedure 
To Uninstall Komodo edit 8 on ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 /12.04
sudo apt-get remove komodo-edit-globalmenu
